2025 Registration Form

Welcome Canterbury Crocs! You are about to register for the 2025 season.

Registration opens March 22nd at 7PM and closes on May 1st.  NOTE: Registrations received after May 1st will incur an additional $50 late fee.

Through our website, you'll have access to your own private account enabling you to easily RSVP for swim meets, sign up for volunteer jobs, see your children's swim meet results and histories, maintain your contact information, and more.

As in prior years, families will need to sign up for all of the volunteer jobs before their registration is complete. Every family must sign up for 4 shifts (one shift equals one-half meet) unless you are the parent of a graduating senior or already assigned to an "exempt" position (i.e., season-long job holders, officials, etc.).  NOTE: If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer requirement for the season, you may opt-out and pay a $500 fee.  If you are unable to fulfill a portion of your volunteer requirements (i.e. you can only work 2 of your 4 shifts), we have added a job for each meet titled "Donation To The Crocs!".  This job requires a $100 fee per shift.   Remember, a successful season is dependent on participation from our families.  Please do not opt-out or pay a per shift fee without serious consideration.

Children must be able to swim freestyle (unassisted) the length of the pool to join swim team. The coaches will evaluate all new swimmers on Monday, May 19th.  NOTE: Should our coaches have any concerns, they will speak with the swimmer’s parents about next steps.

Volunteer Requirement

Parental participation is the key to running a successful meet. If you are unable to fulfill an assigned volunteer shift (including meets delayed or rescheduled due to weather), it is your responsibility to find a sub.

For each meet, parents will check in at the swimmer check-in table to acknowledge whether or not they are working that meet. If the parent fails to show up for the volunteer job, a $100 fine will be assessed per volunteer job missed, and his or her swimmer(s) cannot participate in ANY SWIM TEAM ACTIVITY until the fine is paid.

Volunteer Opt-Out

A successful season is dependent on the participation of our families.  In the event that a family is unable to fulfill their volunteer requirement, they are required to pay a fee of $500.  Please only agree to this if you wish to opt out of volunteering and wish to pay a $500 fee. Otherwise, please leave box unchecked and select 4 volunteer shifts.

Parent Expectations

I understand I am expected to volunteer my time in support of the team. If I am unable to fulfill an assigned volunteer shift (including meets delayed or rescheduled due to weather), it is my responsibility to find a sub. If the parent fails to show up for the volunteer job, I understand that a $100 fine will be assessed per volunteer job missed, and my swimmer(s) cannot participate in ANY SWIM TEAM ACTIVITY until the fine is paid.

  • I will endeavor to see that my children abide by the swimmer’s expectations that follow this section.
  • Should my child’s behavior present a continuing problem, or should my swimmer fail to meet his/her commitments, after efforts by me and the coach to resolve any difficulties, I understand that my child may not be allowed to compete in the next swim meet.
  • I understand that I should talk to the Canterbury Swim Team Board Representative and/or Parent Representative about any question, concern, or grievance concerning the swim team program or coaching staff. The Board and/or Parent Rep is responsible for communicating information to the coaches.
  • I will not assume the role of coach at practice or at a meet.
  • I understand that I (or my designated responsible adult) must accompany every child under 11 years of age during all swim meets and all practices.
  • I will notify the coaches at least one week prior to any swim meet that my child will miss. If my child falls ill or an emergency arises before a meet, I will notify the coach or Parent Rep as soon as possible that my child will not attend.
  • I will abide by GRAL rules, including no smoking or alcohol consumption at swim meets.
  • I will set an example for all swimmers by displaying good sportsmanship at all times.
