Good evening Crocs! 

Once again Mother Nature was not our friend tonight. Thank you all for your patience with the delays. Please know that safety is always our primary goal and that we must defer to the call of the Head lifeguard on the 30 minute wait rule. GRAL encourages all teams to attempt to wait out a rain delay and complete meets on the scheduled date. We at Canterbury also strive to keep to the schedule as we know that many of you are shifting around your busy lives to attend the meet and it is difficult to come back a second day. 

With all that being said, we didn’t feel that the weather would cooperate tonight based on the multiple radar readings.  The meet has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, July 18th. The schedule remains the same with a 4:30 check in time and warms up beginning at 5. If you  will not be able to attend tomorrow’s meet as a swimmer or volunteer please respond to this email and I will direct your response to the right person. 

Tomorrow morning will be a normal practice schedule and Thursday morning will be a fun practice in the morning with Champs Registration in the afternoon. If your child qualifies for the FIRST time for champs tomorrow night please let either Coach Matt or Lori Hotem know if you plan on attending champs before you leave the meet. We know it is asking a lot to make such a quick decision but it is essential that our Champs coordinators know by early Thursday morning.
