With just a little over a month remaining before practice for the 2019 season, I wanted to share some important information with you.

It is with great excitement that I announce our coaching staff for this summer:

• Jack McSorley, Head Coach
• Zach Carroll, Assistant Coach
• Mary Cornett, Assistant Coach
• Pat Lyons, Assistant Coach
• Patrick Madden, Assistant Coach

I promise you that their excitement for the summer and the opportunities it holds for FUN and FAST swimming is contagious and that when you meet them you, too, will be ready for the summer!

There are a number of dates that I want to put in front of you so that you can begin planning:

• Saturday, April 27 2 - 5PM: Suit fitting and in-person payment of registration fees at NOVA. NOTE: We will have a new team suit this year. The suit will be available at the Virginia Swim Shop (located at NOVA) throughout the spring and summer, but this is a great time to get fitted by the experts in the Swim Shop and pick up an additional gear (goggles, etc.) that you may need.
• Saturday, April 27 7PM: Online registration OPENS! Details will be sent in a separate email.
• Sunday, May 19 4 - 5PM: Meet the Coaches at Canterbury!
• Monday, May 20: FIRST day of practice
• Saturday, June 8 8AM: FIRST meet (v. Burkwood)
• Saturday, June 15: Breakstroke swim clinic
• Saturday, June 22: Starts and turns clinic
• Saturday, June 29: Butterfly swim clinic
