Crocs -

I am pleased to announce that there WILL be a 2020 Canterbury Crocs season. Our season this year will differ greatly than prior years, but our goal of having a FUN, FAST, and FAIR season remain!

2020 will be a developmental year where our Crocs can become more confident and proficient through practice both in the water and through land exercises while providing the fun, competitive environment our swimmers are used to. While we do not anticipate any organized meets this year due to safety considerations, we plan to have our Crocs face off against each other in mock meets held during practice; thereby, allowing our coaches and swimmers to monitor progress.

As safety of our membership and staff are our first priority we ask that if you choose to participate in our season that you agree to follow all Canterbury rules per phase, maintain proper social distancing while on property, wash your hands frequently, and stay home if you are ill or are showing signs of COVID-19.

Our practices will be in the mornings Monday – Friday as shown below. Our modified season will begin on Monday, June 15 and run through Friday, July 31.

Registration for the 2020 season will open Saturday, June 13^th at 7PM through our website, www.canterburycrocs.swimtopia.com. Registration fees will be $60/swimmer.

As with most things these days, I wish the circumstances were different and we would have our normal season, but I also feel strongly about offering a season of some sort as participation on our team also encompasses connection, friendship, fun, swimming skills, and water safety, not to mention the mental and physical benefits from the exercise, fresh area, change of scenery and new faces!
