Week Three Recap and First Swim Meet

    Dear Canterbury Swim Team,

Our first in-practice meet is finally here. Everyone did a great job this week at practice working hard and preparing for our first meet. As coaches we are super excited to finally see how our swimmers are doing and get a baseline to measure improvement over the season.

    Week Three Recap

    • On Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday we got the blocks in place and worked on starts, turns, and finishes. For some of the less experienced swimmers we started to introduce butterfly and/or breaststroke.
    • On Thursday/Friday we worked on starts and then had some fun relays at the end of practice. The coaches loved the team spirit for the Fourth of July!
