Good morning Crocs!! I am exhausted this morning but in a way that makes me happy because it feels great to be back into the “normalcy” of a summer swim season.  We all thank you for your patience last night through the storms and meet delay. 

• DUE TO FORECASTED  STORMS THIS AFTERNOON, WE WILL DELAY DOUGHNUTS UNTIL MONDAY AFTERNOON PRACTICE.  We don’t want to bring a large order to the pool to only have it wasted due to pool closure. There will still be a practice if the weather holds. 
  
• Once our results from last night are merged with Burkwood’s results by GRAL we will know places and points and be able to produce ribbons. I am unsure of the timeline on this but I am hopeful to have ribbons by Monday’s practice. 
  
• Moving forward for the rest of the season you will be able to sign up via Swimtopia for meets and volunteer requirements. You may also purchase spirit wear at this time via the Swimtopia website. 
  
• Canterbury will conduct the rest of our season with in person meets with the exception of our last meet with Chestnut Oaks which will be virtual. The Board decided to conduct in person meets following the lifting of restrictions by Governor Northam in May.  Canterbury swim reps will continue to the best of our abilities to provide some social distancing during our home meets. We have no control over our away meets with Hungary Creek (HCRA) and Wyndham. At this point HCRA has no restrictions in place and will run their meet “pre-Covid” style. HCRA does have the large grassy area outside of their gates in which you can distance yourself but there are going to be no restrictions on what takes place on deck.  We understand that each family needs to make decisions with which they are comfortable.
