The Hungary Creek Marlins welcome the Canterbury Crocs Thursday, June 17th. The meet will start at 6:00 pm. We will open the pool gate at 4:30.

LOCATION: Our pool is located at 9194 Hungary Road, Henrico, VA 23294. 

PARKING: There is plenty of parking in our parking lot. Overflow parking will be on Francistown Road and on any of the side roads off of Francistown. Parking is NOT permitted at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church or at any of the houses on Hungary Road. 

SEATING: Seating for your team will be around our lap / meet pool. Overflow seating is welcome on the grassy area right outside of our pool entrance gate. You may bring deck chairs for your use. Please inform your swimmers and parents that our “Z” pool, our baby pool and our sand volleyball court are closed during the meet.

CHECK-IN: A Check-In table will be set up for your team near the front entrance walkway. Check-in must be completed by 5:30 pm. 

WARM-UPS: Hungary Creek will warm-up at 5:00. Canterbury will warm up at 5:20.

POOL STATS: Our pool is measured in meters and has 6 lanes. The start end of the pool is 4 feet deep and the turn end is 6 feet deep. This means that swimmers can dive from either end of the pool, however we start all events on the blocks and timers move to the other side of the pool for 25’s.

CLERK OF THE COURSE: Our Clerk of the Course is located behind our pump house, right past the diving board.

CONCESSIONS: Our Swim Team sponsors a bake sale, which includes Papa John’s pizza and Chick-fil-A sandwiches. Our pool concession stand is open and we will have burgers and hot dogs on the grill.

WEATHER: If we have to clear the deck due to weather, we will all wait in the main parking lot for direction.
