Hi Crocs!  Here are some reminders for swim team.

• This Thursday, June 9 from 4:30-5pm is the new Parent Meeting.  Please let us know if you plan to attend.  If you plan to attend, please be sure you have read over the 2022 Canterbury Crocs Swimmer & Parent Handbook (also attached to this email) and bring any questions you have.
• This Friday, June 10 is the deadline to RSVP your swimmer/s for the first swim meet on June 15 at Hungary Creek.  Click here to RSVP, scroll down to Meet #1 and, click on meet entry.
• This Friday, June 10 from 5-9pm is the Glow Party at the pool.  Please bring a sweet treat to share.  
  • Domino's Pizza is offering 50% off pizzas delivered to the pool that night.  Please be sure to enter Canterbury Recreation Pool as the business you are delivering to.  
  • Pool noodles will be allowed in the pool from 7-9pm only.  The pool has some that we can use, but feel free to bring your own. Children are not permitted to hit each other with the noodles or run around the pool with the noodles.  We would love for pool management, and the board, to continue to work with us on allowing noodles in the pool for fun, so thank you in advance for speaking with your children on how to appropriately use the noodles in the pool. 

Banquet

The swim team banquet will be on Wednesday, July 27 from 6-9pm at the pool with the rain date being Thursday, July 28. Publix will be catering the dinner for those that are interested. The price is $8.50/person and includes chicken tenders, fried chicken, bbq, green beans, coleslaw, mac n cheese, potato salad, and rolls. Please RSVP here for both the banquet and if you wish to participate in the dinner by Saturday, June 18. Payment to participate in the catered dinner is due to Amy Maiden by Friday, June 24. Payment must be received by June 24 in order to be included in the dinner. You may Venmo Amy at Amelia-Maiden or mail a check made payable to Amy Maiden to 1900 Grenadier Court, Henrico, VA 23238.
