Hi Crocs.  Please see the message below from the Swim Team Committee Social Chairs in regards to the banquet on July 27.

Hello Croc Families! 

After 7 long weeks we are wrapping up our swim season with our annual swim banquet. Our swim team banquet is Wednesday, July 27th from 6pm-9pm. To make this night as successful and as fun as possible, we wanted to pass on as much information about the event. 

Timing: 

The banquet and opening remarks will begin promptly at 6pm. Please note that the pool is closed for this event. In order to give us the most amount of time possible for set up, we will be closing the pool deck and opening the gates at 5:50. Once you and your swimmers arrive at the banquet, we will be sitting the swimmers under the pavilion and by the diving board so they can hear the coaches presentation and receive their trophies. Once the children are guided into place, the parents are welcome to find a seat in any open available seating. Please note, there will be a limited number of tables available so we recommend that you bring your field chairs to the event.

At the conclusion of the coaches presentation, we will open up the buffet line for the families that have chosen to take advantage of the catering option.  Tea, lemonade, and swamp juice are part of the buffet, but feel free to bring your own beverage of choice.

Attire: 

Our hope this year is that the banquet is more formal than it has been in years past. We are asking our swimmers to come dressed nicely for the beginning of the event only. At the conclusion of the dinner there will be a limited number of changing tents and the restrooms available for swimmers to change into their bathing suits if they would like to swim. 

Parent/Coaches/Kids Relays: 

Once the pool is available for swimming we would love for everyone to get involved and compete in some friendly racing. If you or your swimmer would like to race each other or the coaches, please RSVP for any participants here.

We will be showing our annual swim team slideshow towards the end of the event. If you have any pictures from the season, please email them to [email protected] by Sunday, July 24. 

Set Up/Clean Up: 

We would love as many volunteers as possible to help set up, serve food, and clean up the pool to make this night as magical as possible for the swimmers. If you are able to help during the event, please email [email protected]. We have had a wonderful season with your swimmers and we are looking forward to the banquet.
