Welcome to the 2023 summer swim team season!  We are looking forward to a summer full of fun!  As families are starting to register, I thought I would send out some updates and reminders.  Swim Team registration is open until May 21.  Families may register after May 21, but there is a $50 late fee.

Please take some time to read over the Canterbury Crocs Swimmer and Parent Handbook for important information about the swim team and how swim meets work.

Coaching Staff:

We are excited to welcome a new head coach this year, Lauren Hines.  Lauren comes to us with a wealth of swimming knowledge.  She grew up swimming competitively and swam in college. She has coached summer swim teams within GRAL in the past and currently helps coach the swim team at Collegiate.  Lauren is also a middle school math teacher.  Lauren is looking forward to joining the Canterbury Crocs this summer and meeting you and your children.

We also are welcoming back Savannah Eakes and Emily Lionberger as assistant coaches and are excited to have William Bremer, Eleanor Cribbs, and Kate Hotem join the coaching staff as assistant coaches.

Important Upcoming Dates:

• Suit Fitting is this Sunday, May 7 1-3pm at NOVA Regency.  Come get fitted for our new suit and/or purchase a suit.
• Come meet this year's coaches on Sat, May 20 from 2-3pm at the pool.  This is a drop by event.
• First day of practice is Mon, May 22.
• New Parent Meeting Thurs, June 8 at 4:30pm at the pool.  
• Swim Team Ice Cream Social is Mon, June 12 from 6-8pm at the pool.
• Swim Team pictures are Fri, June 16 during morning practice.  More information to come closer to the date.
