    Swim Team Updates and Reminders Week of May 15

    Crocs,

    Here are this week's reminders and updates.  

    • Swim Team registration is open until May 21. Families may register after May 21, but there is a $50 late fee.  Please help spread the word.
    • Please take some time to read over the Canterbury Crocs Swimmer and Parent Handbook for important information about the swim team and how swim meets work.
    • If you were not able to purchase a new team swim suit at the suit fitting on May 7, you may go to the swim shop at NOVA Regency during their operating hours or you may order a swim suit here.  If you order a suit through the online store, you will need to go to the swim shop at NOVA Regency to pick up your items.

    Swim Caps:

    All swimmers will receive a latex swim cap for free if they would like one on the first day of practice.  If you ordered a silicon swim cap, I will be handing those out at the meet coaches event on Sat, May 20.  If you did not order one, but would still like one, please email me at [email protected].  I will also have extra for purchase on Sat, May 20 if you would like to buy one.  They are $11 and well worth the money if your child will be wearing a swim cap.

    Important Upcoming Dates:

    • Come meet this year's coaches on Sat, May 20 from 2-3pm at the pool. This is a drop by event.
    • First day of practice is Mon, May 22.
    • New Parent Meeting Thurs, June 8 at 4:30pm at the pool.
    • Swim Team Ice Cream Social is Mon, June 12 from 6-8pm at the pool.
    • Swim Team pictures are Fri, June 16 during morning practice. More information to come closer to the date.

    Rained Out:

    This year we will be using rained out again to notify families and swimmers of any last minute practice changes (such as cancellation due to weather) and any last minute meet updates. We strongly encourage all parents, guardians, and swimmers with phones to register. There are three different ways to register for rained out listed below.

    1. Text CANTERBURY to 84483. You will receive an automated confirmation in return; OR

    2. Go to https://www.rainedout.net/team_page.php?a=f9af6c3a9fd8cd4155c9 and follow the instructions; OR

    3. Go to www.RainedOut.com and search for Canterbury Swim Team. Follow the instructions to sign up.
