Good Afternoon Crocs! 

I first wanted to say thank you for being so welcoming, supportive, and helpful with getting this season started! We are only one week away from our first meet of the 2023 Season! In an effort to make sure to uphold my season goals of sportsmanship, safety, growth, and fun, I have listed a few updates/reminders below: 

Mock Meet- this Thursday June 8

In an effort to make sure all 10 and under crocs are comfortable with what a meet looks like, we will run a practice version of a meet on Thursday evening during the 5:00-5:45pm practice time. We will do a 5 minute warm-up, go over what clerk of course is, and practice swimming one event and a relay to help all swimmers feel confident for next week! Feel free to be a fan, practice your timing, or mock officiate if you are around the pool :) 11 and older will get some diving practice with the starter and review clerk of course as well but not in a mock meet style format. 

Meet 1 Availability

I know Michelle Bynum has sent this out already, but please mark your swimmer availability for this first meet by this Friday, June 9 at 11:59pm! It really helps the coaching staff make sure all entries and relays are ready for the meet! It is our goal to have every swimmer on the team participate on at least one relay this season so availability is important! Last minute swimmer cancellations from a meet usually can cause a relay to be scratched from swimming.
