All 1st shift Timers need to be in place to ensure meet promptly starts at 6:00.

There is ample parking available in our lot and on our property. Attendants will direct you as you come in. Five spaces will be reserved for your team. You may use them for coaches, parent/league reps, or whomever you choose. These spaces will be marked in front of our clubhouse.

    ● Seating for the away team is located in our bleachers alongside Lane 8. You may bring deck chairs for your use in the bleachers, grassy areas and pool deck near the bleacher side. Please do not sit in areas that are cordoned off. Please inform your swimmers and parents that the upper pool, baby pool and tennis courts are off limits for swim teams during the meet. We will have the Kona Ice truck located in the grassy area behind the blocks. Families are welcome to set up there, but know that the vendor will be parking in that area for the night.

    ● Please note: Burkwood will be taking a team picture on the away team’s bleachers between 4:15-4:25 p.m. We ask that the visiting team please refrain from setting up/sitting on the bleachers prior to the picture. Thank you advance for your patience and understanding!
Check-In: Your team can begin check-in at 4:30 p.m. Check-in must be completed by 5:30 p.m. A table will be set up next to the bleachers alongside Lane 8. Please direct your families to the entrance along the sidewalk path on the right hand side of the clubhouse (from the parking lot) as it is the closest to our competition pool. If you have families that need handicap access, please let the parking attendants know so they can be directed to the parking lot behind the competition pool. ● Your computer entries should be sent to our computer rep by 8:00 p.m. the night before.
If we have severe weather that causes the meet to stop outdoors, we may have the option to finish the meet at our indoor pool should the teams agree to do this. Our indoor pool is measured in yards. •

Our pool is measured in meters and has 8 lanes. • The start end of the pool is about 5’ deep and the turn end is about 4’2” deep. • Swimmers can dive in the start end and the turn end as well.
    ● The Clerk of Course is located on the pool deck behind the starting blocks. Please ask your parents to remind swimmers to be safe on the grassy hill area. No running or rough play on the hill as they are waiting to be called to line up.

The snack bar and concession stand, located at the back of our clubhouse, will have dinner items available for purchase. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, beverages, snacks, candy and ice cream will be available throughout the evening until 9:00PM. Chick-fil-a sandwiches and pizza will be available beginning around 5:30 p.m. until they run out. The Kona Ice truck will be located in the grassy area behind the blocks for the duration of the meet.
Our starter is on the right side of the pool when standing on the blocks, so your swimmers who are not dive block certified will need an "X" for in-water starts or an "O" for side starts marked on their right shoulders.

If we have to clear the deck due to weather, everyone must return to their vehicles. The lifeguards and pool management are responsible for monitoring the weather. At the first sound of thunder or sighting of lightning, the pool and deck must be cleared of people and secured. It is the responsibility of the Meet Director, the Parent Representatives, and Pool Management to ensure that this is done. Meet Director, Parent Reps, and Pool Management will meet in the clubhouse to make plans for any postponements. Postponements are to be decided by the Meet Director, Pool Management, and Parent Reps (one from each club) after a 30-minute delay. A 30-minute waiting period is to be enforced before swimmers may begin to swim after the last sighting of lightning or sound of thunder.

We will post results on the fencing near the turn end of the pool.
Our Computer Rep will make every effort to post via Meet Mobile, but league rules do not state this is a requirement. If there is a problem with results uploading, please direct your families to the posted results until there is sufficient time during the meet to address the upload.

In accordance with the league policy, we do not allow consumption of alcohol during the swim meet. Also, no glass containers are permitted on pool property.
