Shout out to an awesome first day of swimming at CHAMPS!

As a coaching staff we couldn't be more proud of the strong start we had as a team. The results show just how much the group showed up ready to CROC and roll today! 

Here's the highlights of the day:

Henry Bise: 8th in the 25 back, 8th in the 100 IM, 8th in the 25 free, 5th in the medley relay, 6th in the 50 free, and 7th in the free relay (medaled in all 6 events!)

Ruby Clarke: 5th in the medley relay, 9th in the 50 breast, and 13th in the free relay 

Libby Collier: 10th in the 100 IM, 7th in the 50 fly, and 8th in the free relay

Mary Collier: 8th in the medley relay and 13th in the free relay!

Jane Eldred: 8th in the 100 IM (dropping 3.6 seconds!), 5th in the 50 free, 2nd in the medley relay, 14th in the 50 breast, 7th in the 100 free, and 7th in the free relay

Kate Francis: 12th in the 50 back, 12 in the 100 IM, 2nd in the medley relay, 3rd in the 50 breast, 10th in the 100 free, and 1st in the free relay!! 

Delainey Gurley: swam an amazing 25 backstroke to start off our coaches relay against swimmers much bigger than her!

Dylan Gurley: 6th in the 100 IM (dropping a huge 12.6 seconds!), 5th in the medley relay, and 10th in the free relay

Reid Hart:  9th in the 25 back (dropping a second!), 8th in the 25 free (dropping 1.7 seconds!), 3rd in the 50 free (dropping 3 seconds!), and 10th in the free relay

Gwyneth Hershey : 11th in the medley relay, 6th in the 50 breast, and 8th in the free relay

Lexi Hromyak: awesome back leg of the medley relay and 10th in the free relay!

Spencer Hume: 6th in the 50 back (dropping 2 seconds!), 4th in the 50 free (dropping 2.4 seconds!), 1st in the 50 fly (dropping 4 seconds!), 1st in the 100 free (dropping 8.2 seconds!), and 2nd in the free relay 

Lane Jacobs: 6th in the 50 back, 10th in the 100 IM, 5th in the medley relay, 2nd in the 50 fly, 5th in the 100 free, and 1st in the free relay!

Eliza Marshall : 8th in the 25 free, 12th in the 25 breast, and 7th in the free relay

Lang Marshburn: 1st in the 50 back (dropping 3.6 seconds!), 2nd in the medley relay, and 7th in the free relay

Hank Morton : 7th in the 25 back (dropping almost a second!), 7th in the free relay

Declan Mullis: 9th in the 50 free, 2nd in the medley relay, and 7th in the free relay

Ellie Mullis : 12th in the 100 free, 2nd in the medley relay

Audrey Pedraza: 15th in the 100 IM, 5th in the medley relay, 11th in the 50 fly, and 7th in the free relay

Eloise Pedraza : 8th in the free relay

Gwendolyn Pedraza: 1st in the 100 IM (dropping 6.8 seconds!), 5th in the medley relay, 6th in the 25 breast, and 10th in the free relay

Lindsey Price : 7th in the 50 back, 9th in the 100 IM (dropping almost a second!), 11th in the 50 free, 11th in the medley relay, 2nd in the 50 breast (dropping 1.8 seconds!), and 2nd in the free relay

Joey Speich: 5th in the medley relay, 5th in the 50 breast (dropping almost 2 seconds!), and 13th in the free relay

Hudson Spigelmyer : 4th in the 50 back (dropping 2.6 seconds!), 6th in the 50 free (dropping almost a second!), 11th in the medley relay, 2nd in the 50 fly, and 2nd in the free relay

Carlin Stamm: 6th in the 50 back (dropping a second!), 4th in the 100 IM, 7th in the 50 free, 11th in the medley relay, 1st in the 50 fly (dropping 1.8 seconds!), and 8th in the free relay

Gwen Timpner : 2nd in the 100 IM (dropping 4.4 seconds!), 11th in the 50 free, 8th in the medley relay, 10th in the 50 fly, 10th in the 100 free, and 13th in the medley relay

Jack Tucker: 10th in the 25 back, 11th in the 25 free, 5th in the medley relay, 9th in the 25 breast, 15th in the 50 free, and 7th in the free relay

Emmett Weeks : 9th in the 100 IM (dropping a second!), 9th in the 50 free, 8th in the medley relay, 5th in the 50 fly, 4th in the 100 free (dropping 1.5 seconds!), and 1st in the free relay!

Jabarrie Zebley: 9th in the 50 back (dropping almost a half second!), 12th in the 50 free, 8th in the medley relay, 2nd in the 50 fly, 6th in the 100 free, and 1st in the free relay!

WAY TO GO 12 AND UNDER SWIMMERS! We had a wonderful meet today with lots time drops, smiles/team spirit, and sportsmanship from the team today! We are looking forward to one more great day of swimming tomorrow!
