Swim Team Reminders
Hi Crocs! Happy Mother's Day to all of the fabulous moms! Here are some swim team reminders for this week. If you plan to stay at the pool during your child/children's practice this week, please bring your own chair. The pool furniture has not been delivered yet, but should be there soon.
May 13- New Swimmer Evaluation at 4:30pm at the pool
May 13- Come greet your coaches from 5:30-6:30pm at the pool
May 14- Practice starts!
For the period of May 14 - May 30th, the practice schedule will be as follows. Please note that we will practice Monday-Thursday during this time period. We will not practice on Friday.

Rained Out:
Please sign up for Rained Out Text Messages. This is how we will communicate pool closings and last minute updates/changes, especially due to weather during practices and swim meets. We strongly encourage all parents, guardians, and swimmers with phones to register. There are three different ways to register for rained out listed below.
1. Text CANTERBURY to 84483. You will receive an automated confirmation in return; OR
2. Go to https://www.rainedout.net/
3. Go to www.RainedOut.com and search for Canterbury Swim Team. Follow the instructions to sign up.
Team Swim Suit:
If you need a team swim suit, you will need to either order it through this link and pick it up at the VA Swim Shop at NOVA Regency or you can go directly to the swim shop to get fitted and purchase it there.
Meet Signups:
You can now sign up to attend swim meets. You will sign up by logging into your Swimtopia account and clicking on 2024 Schedule. You will then click the Meet Entry button to let the coaches know if your child/children will or will not participate in each meet. You need to let the coaches know if your swimmer/s will participate in each meet by the Friday before the meet. For instance, for the June 5 meet, you need to complete the meet entry notification by Friday, May 31. If you do not sign your swimmer/s up by the deadline, the coaches will assume your swimmer/s is not swimming in the meet and thus, he/she will not be entered into events or relays.
