Good evening, Champs families!

Our 12 & Younger swimmers got our team off to a fast start today!!  Lots of best times, great relays, some team and GRAL records broken---all giving Canterbury the lead going into Day 2.  Canterbury scored 840 points, followed by Burkwood with 738, then Wyndham in 3rd with 711.   Good luck to all swimmers on Sunday!!

 

A couple of reminders from GRAL:

Volunteers should check in at the Volunteer Check-In table to receive a deck pass.  Thank you to the Ellsworth, Hull, Duffy, Murphy, McSorley, Carroll, Evko, Alburger, and Massengill families for filling our volunteer assignments tomorrow. Thank you the Wells, Harrell, Boyd, Compton, Jacobs, Collawn, Cribbs, Eakes, Blaszak, Evko, and Carroll families who filled our roles today. 

All swimmers should report to the Clerk of Course.  Many year round swimmers are used to reporting directly behind the blocks for their events, but everyone is reminded to please go to the Clerk.

VERY IMPORTANT: We had 3 (non-CRA) swimmers get injured today (one had to leave in an Ambulance) all with head injuries, and all because they were jumping or diving off of the bulkhead in an unsafe manner.  PLEASE! tell your swimmers that there is NO DIVING anywhere except during competition.  That means there is NO DIVING in the warm-up pool.  There is NO ONE allowed on the bulkhead between the pools except for coaches and officials.
