Good evening Crocs!!

I hope you all have dried out from the deluge this evening.  I wish I was sitting watching all of our Crocs swimming now but the weather had different ideas.  We have made the decision to postpone the meet until Saturday 7/8  at 8:00 AM.  There were many factors that were considered in our decision to pick this date including availability of personnel, availability of the facilities and weather. 

Saturday schedule of events:

6:30 - check in begins

7-7:20- Canterbury warm ups

7:25-7:45 - Wyndham warm ups.

8:00 - meet starts

We anticipate the meet will run until approximately 1:00 pm.  Please know that there is little to no shade during that time of day at Canterbury so please bring plenty of water and sunscreen.

IF YOU CAN ATTEND THE MEET ON SATURDAY AND YOU WERE NOT SIGNED UP FOR THE MEET TONIGHT PLEASE EMAIL [email protected].  WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU SWIM ON SATURDAY.

IF YOUR PLANS HAVE NOT CHANGED AT ALL AND YOU WILL BE AT THE MEET ON SATURDAY AND YOU WERE SIGNED UP FOR TONIGHT- YOU DO NOT NEED TO EMAIL US. 

PLEASE LET US KNOW OF YOUR CHANGES BY FRIDAY AT 8:00 AM.

VOLUNTEERS--

Thanks for your flexibility.  If you are unable to fill your position for any reason on Saturday, it is your responsibility to find a replacement and inform the Volunteer Coordinator of the change.  Email Colleen Blaszak at canterburyswim@gmail.com with any questions -please put Volunteer in the subject line.

DUNK HUNGER-

Since we were unable to hold our Dunk Hunger competition due to weather tonight, the competition will be held Saturday morning 7/8.

The coach who collects the most money or canned food will be pied at the last home meet!!

Our goal is the same-- if we collect 3,500 pounds of food Saturday, all 5 coaches have agreed to get pied (there will be a raffle at the final home meet to determine who pies the coaches).  If every swimmer brings in $5 worth of food , we will easily meet our goal (every dollar donated equals five pounds of food)!

Tomorrow's practice is a normal practice with the normal times.  Fun/donut practice will be rescheduled for Monday.
